The two-year, 121,000 euro post-doctoral grant from the2025 call for projects was won by Justine Cesari for her project " DPSYRÉA: Evaluation des dispositifs de soin psychologique en service de réanimation pour les patients, les proches et les soignants ".
Led by Prof. Alexandra Laurent(University of Burgundy), the DPSYRÉA project aims to take stock of psychological practices in intensive care units, and to formulate operational recommendations to provide better support for patients, their families and caregivers.
This proposal stood out for the originality of its perspective: that of working upstream, in a highly traumatic context, to better understand and prevent the effects of psychotrauma. This preventive approach, focusing on a link that is still little explored by mental health research, particularly resonated with Cn2r's priorities. The patient partners on the jury underlined the concrete importance of this project in strengthening existing support systems and responding to needs in the field.
