This graphic novel, written by Fred Dewilde, a victim of the November 13, 2015 attacks, plunges the reader into the heart of this historic tragedy. In the first part, the author illustrates the trauma experienced on the night of the Eagles of Death Metal concert at the Bataclan. For two hours, their lives were hanging by a thread, with the woman he calls Elisa. In the second part, the author gives his account of the aftermath of the attack, and testifies to his life in a thousand pieces that have to be pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle. A professional graphic designer, Fred Dewilde puts words and images to his experiences, in an attempt to understand what happened to him. A moving but dignified novel, which reminds us of the tragic impact of psychological wounds.
